I was impressed with how cohesive the story remained despite the switch in authors. I'm really enjoying the story and all of the clues and puzzles. Bring on book 3!

Excessive use of the word "dweeb". I don't know a single kid who uses that name anymore.

Not even a mysterious international family fetch quest can distract from the ways in which sexism and classism combine to ruin the lives of good people. If Dan and Amy don't abolish the eurocentric hetero patriarchal capitalist powers that be in the next book, I'm gonna sue!!!
