Okay so I feel like I have a lot to say about this book-sooooo here we go. I’ve seen a lot of people hate on Janelle because she didn’t “have a backbone”, but as someone who has been a people pleaser my whole life and finally as an adult learning how to not be, I can relate alot to her. It really does feel how she feels when it comes to her sister. I loved seeing her learn how to say no and start to set boundaries with her mom and sister.

3.5 ⭐️
This could’ve been a four star, because I really liked the main characters and there romance, I liked the side characters (I also hope this becomes an interconnected series because I need more Micah 😭).
I just wish the situation with her mother and her sister were a little bit more tackled in this book. 
I also removed a few points cause I can’t pretend that I didn’t read the sentence “the way her ass claps on its own with every squat has me about to brick up right here in this gym “
