This series continues to be a delight. This volume is a little bit more lightweight (a significant portion of it is just a series of battle scenes), but the story telling and characters continue to delight. Even the immature humor is used to clever effect.

Überraschenderweise echt lustig. Habs gratis bekommen und hat mit sehr gefallen, auch wenn es natürlich nur ein kurzer Lesehappen zwischendurch war.

Die sehr minimalen Zeichnungen sind doch sehr reich vor allem an Gesichtsausdrücken. Wunderbar.

My son and I like all of the characters. My son's fav character is Petey because "he has a very creative mind and he changed" (in this book he tries to be good). We didn't like how this book has the same plot as the other books (a new bad guy, Dog Man and friends fight the bad guy). Lots of funny parts. We are going to read "Call of the Wild" while we wait for "Dog Man: Brawl of the Wild" to be published.
