******SPOILERS AHEAD******

This is intense already, I thought Ghouls were monsters but these Ghoul Investigators are equally terrifying. The dialogues that Mado uses are disturbingly parallel to Nishiki so where do we even draw the line between human and ghoul here? On top of it, I feel like I'm overreacting and there's much worse things to come.

But I love how Ken tries to see both sides, be it humans or the ghouls. I'm glad that he's able to acknowledge the Ghoul part of him, that's the first step towards acceptance of his reality! But that mask is sick though!!

I watched the first two seasons of TG back in middle school and it’s so nice reliving that time. I think I’m starting to understand why many fans were upset with then anime adaption.

A bit confusing, a bit all over the place, can those investigators (especially that old weird man) just fuck off, but it was a good read and I am happy to say I will be continuing the series. Want to see Kaneki grow, Touka be a bit kinder, and I am very curious about what other ghouls there are in this world and if Hinami will be fine.
The anime was way too much for me, but the manga is OK-ish for most (though some parts, oh nope) so that makes me happy as I have been interested in Tokyo Ghoul for a long time.
