Drizzt #14
Adventure Fantasy
There were some exciting fight scenes in this book, but it was very slow going. I think I'm just not fond of the Wulfgar character and this set has been about him mostly. It is also a transition in relationships and growth for characters which was worth reading, but I also struggled to get through the Paths of Darkness set.

Boy, do I love the Legend of Drizzt series! I must to have gotten this far, to be sure.

What can I say about this book without spoiling anything? Hmm... Well, the villains are well-established and likable, but I feel that Wulfgar's plot is stretched very thin and it definitely could have been wrapped up in fewer books than what we got. Robillard (Captain Deudermont's wizard) is fleshed out more, which is great since I love that character.

I felt disappointed in the twist, but I, of course, won't go in depth into that.
