I really enjoyed this book and hope for more to come . I must say that I would not have given this book as high of a rating if I hadn’t read the prequel first which gave a lot of insight into the main character Christian Black .
I really enjoy this author , his style is easy to read and he tells a great story . I looks forward to reading more of his books in the future .

Soo… this isn’t a genre that I usually read, I guess I have to start with that, but, to my surprise, it was actually quite interesting. Since it’s written in third person, at the beginning I struggled with all the different POV’s that were there, but I’m not complaining. It’s hard to imagine how I would be able to follow the story, if there would just be a single POV. In my experience this just isn’t a very common writing style, so I needed time to adjust.
But, in the end, I was low-key disappointed when I realised that I will not be getting the answer’s to some of the questions that I was looking forward to be finally uncovered. For example, what happened to the girl from the previous book?! And what actually happened in Mexico?

Holy Mess!!

I am still gripping my kindle with a bit too much ferocity after that ending! Did I love every bit of this book? Of course. Am I ready for the next one? Now, please. The characters are beautiful. They pull so many emotions from me that the experience is exhausting in such a perfect way, like only amazing writing can do. This story is one that begs to be read and doesn't hesitate to please. It's safe to say I loved it.

Is there a next book? LOL

The set up novella held a lot more promise than this book reveals. Thus can easily be fixed with MORE BOOKS.

This story revolves around a mistake Christian Black makes that puts a price on his head if he can’t fix it.

There’s a mystery to solve on his journey to erase his mistake so he’s not a wanted man. Morally gray protagonist. Anti-hero.

It was a fun read but I don’t see another book ….
