This is one of those books where both characters piss me off with their stupidity and how they react vs actually talking to eachother.

I received a copy of this book from the author in return for an honest review.
This is the second book I've read by Selena Laurence. It continues with the characters from #1 & #1.5. Gabe saved Alexis when she was in Afghanistan as a UN worker and he was serving in the Army. I didn't read the novella that precedes this story but it didn't stop me from following the storyline at all. The story picks up two years later. Alexis has a safe, if a little boring, boyfriend and is one year away from graduation. Gabe has returned from surfing and college in Hawaii to find Alexis and settle into making a living. Alexis denies her feelings for Gabe who is secure in wearing his on his sleeve and tattooed on his arm. A great read, not formulaic and a great follow up to Camouflaged. Off now to read the novella I missed!
