Wow, this is one hell of a fun horror collection! I took my time reading the stories, as I generally can't focus on short stories if I read more than a couple at a time. This collection was very impressive. Typically, a horror anthology has a couple big name writers, some up and comers, and some unheard of talent: and the stories range from outstanding to just horrible. This book had the typical cast of authors, however, there really weren't any stories I disliked. I can definitely say that for the "new to me" authors, I want to read more of their stuff! Every holiday is covered here, and you are guaranteed to have some fun with the stories! They are not for the faint of heart, so be warned!

Really mixed feelings on this. Some of these were great, funny or poignant; some had some awful dialogue and unbelievable characters; most made me want to vomit a little. It’s worth a read if you have a stomach for it, but for my taste I should have spread it out more.
