45/45 books read this year, ending the challenge with a very fun star wars novel that, at points, made me cry. Loved how many lesbians were involved.

A MASTERPIECE! Structurally, the stories flow in an easily comprehensible manner. Characters are memorable and diverse. Intriguing points of view. Feels like you've been given a secret look into "The Empire Strikes Back".

Definitely one for Star Wars fans of course and whilst they don't all work (for me at least) there are some real little gems in here. A few of the short stories hooked me into wanting to know more about the characters and their further adventures.

Quite uneven but generally I enjoyed it. The audiobook version was good and I appreciated the attempt to translate Katie cook's comic strip to audio.
Some stories fit well and others are a little 'shoehorned' in, putting characters in places to witness pivotal scene for a different perspective.
The last story I take issue with. Its a bit of a lighthearted look at the movie itself. I understand the humour is subjective but I didn't like the tone or that they mentioned star trek in a star wars book!
