I started reading it when I was 11, but I didn't even finished it because it was a bit hard for me (I'm Italian). I've read it after three years and, ew, things changed. The book is too easy and basic for a 10/11 years old girl, and there isn't a real story. The fact that it's a book for young girls, doesn't mean that it should be written randomly. And I don't really understand why Lina is an Italian immigrant: dear writer, if you are writing about a different country, you have to look up some information, because we don't talk like that.

My middle son is enjoying learning more about the Melbourne Olympics and life in Australia in the mid 1950's as we read about this young lady.
