Not a fan!I didn't understand much since I read from the middle of a small series. The writing's pretty good though.

I love this series. It's gripping, adventurous fantasy at its finest.

The book is an easy read with a unique and creative world. However, everything moves at rapid pace and little explanation is given. I found myself scratching my head and trying to remember what happened in the first book and who was who. I do not understand the concept of "Aenir" and I have no idea what everything is building too. Also, have no idea how the magic system works and there are a lot of "deus ex machina" moments. This is definitely not a standalone book and I guess I will read the next one to see if it all eventually makes sense.

[Short and quick review from memory before I re-read and re-review at a later date:

No memory of this book or the series, but maybe some snippets. Definite re-read and read of the rest of the series as a whole.]

Ao i read this one when i was a kid but as i reread I realized I remembered absolutely nothing. So. Might as well be reading this series for the first time (which i will be from 3 on). I’m obsessed with Tal, Milla, and their journey. And I love uncle Ebbitt.

A wonderful second installment to the Seventh Tower series. The action is compelling and fast paced, a perfect book for young readers longing for a book that will catch their interest and maintain it.
