A nice selection of short stories by talented American women writers not everyone may have heard of. I'd read some of them before, like Kate Chopin's The Story of an Hour and Susan Glaspell's A Jury of Her Peers (my favorite of the group), but they were worth a reread. Some of the other stories were not quite as strong or of interest to me, and perhaps I was expecting the stories would be OF trailblazing women, not only BY them (my own misunderstanding).

Note: I received a free ebook from the editor through LibraryThing's Early Reviewers program, in exchange for an honest review.
