Loved the story

There were some things that were repetitive and kind of got old after a while, but nevertheless, it was a beautiful story. I cried so much at the end, not for the adults involved in the story, but for the children who had to lived through the war.

PLEASE SEARCH TWs BEFORE READING. I LOVE historical fiction books, so when I saw this I was so excited. IMO I think the book was well written, but I should have searched the TWs first. I laughed, I cried, I mourned. I felt all the emotions. It was definitely more heavy than I was expecting it to be. Yes, I know it’s based on WW2 so it wasn’t going to be happy go lucky, sunshine and rainbows. But holy shit. This sent me on a roller coaster. I would recommend this, but again please search TWs first.
