Murderbot is coming to terms with its trauma and feelings and it's beautiful.
This installment is fast paced, action packed, and in the direct continuity of the previous ones.
All the elements that made me fall in love with Murderbot are there, and it makes me want to start the series all over again.

A great installment and I'm so sad to be out of Murderbot content (hopefully, just for now) the only thing taking .25 away is that this one never let up for a moment, our character were in danger for basically every page and I would have liked a few more pages break in there 😅
But I still love all our characters, especially Murderbot having constant existential crisis about his personhood, feelings and organic parts. I don't think I want it to suffer exactly but it does say highly entertaining things when it's suffering lol. Like "I can't process that right not, I'll archive for later" bahaha

I think I'm over Murderbot guys. With the exception of Network Effect, all of the recent books have just felt like the same story over and over. I'm ready to let these characters go.

Yay, Martha. Another book that made me smile.

WARNING: Do NOT start the series here. And if you're up to speed, go read your review of Network Effect, because the teacher expects you to have done the homework and isn't going to wait for you.

Lately I've read some novels that seemed fine as I read them, but faded afterward into "you know, that wasn't all that good." This one's the opposite. S-L-O-W start, almost into "what the ... is something wrong? But just in time, the plot kicked into gear, and we see that it was necessary to give us a tour of the multistage theater before the performance started.

As always, SecUnit is just capable enough to get 'er done. I am, however, starting to wonder about ART, who seems to have most of the capabilities of an Iain M Banks GSV. All in the service of a university, hmm. We've come a long way from campus cops.

Still, it's Martha and Murderbot, and I walk away happy.

Except, waah, now we have to wait for another one ...
