The Search for Delicious is an amazing book that I can read again and again, even as an adult. Whenever I drink water to this day, I think of how delicious it is, and to not take clean drinkable water for granted.

This is a book I enjoyed as a child, and it recently came to mind. My opinion is for sure biased by the nostalgia factor, but this is a fun and lighthearted fantasy story. Nothing too complicated, just a good story from start to finish!

Read this aloud to my girls and we all really enjoyed it. The shorter chapters made it nice for reading before bed.

This is kind of a weird book... It's about some kingdom that is searching for the meaning of delicious and... well... it's weird..

5 stars. SPOILER FREE REVIEW!!!
Once more, a beautiful fairy tale from the wonderful mind of Natalie Babbitt. Tuck Everlasting is one of my favorite books of all time, so I had high expectations for this book and it did not disappoint. The magical kingdom, fantastical creatures, and whimsical storyline made for a perfect fall read. I had just finished a terrifying and disgusting book, so this book was a wonderful palate cleanser. It reminded me of the beauty of the world and the foolishness of our troubles. The descriptions were vivid and moving and the characters were all very specifically created. Absolutely fantastic.

Very cute, very old-style fairy-tale feel. Did not break my heart like Tuck Everlasting and this is a good thing because I can only cry so much.

This was a nice, short read that I found enjoyable. I saw some similarities between the people and attitudes in the book and the attitudes of people today. The story progressed fast enough. The journey and wanting to know how things were resolved kept me going.
