The first time I read this, I gave it 4 stars. The second time, I've upgraded it to 5 stars.

Its a highly entertaining, lightweight read (in the best possible way), without much angst but with lots of humour and a great characterisation of Elizabeth. Its exactly what I wanted and I spent a lovely afternoon curled up reading with a cup of tea.

Would highly recommend if you want to be entertained!

That was a lot more fun than I thought it’d be! I do love Lizzie and Darcy.

This pacing wasn't too bad. I may have even been good. I didn't feel like it was dragged out. I like the different things Elizabeth did to her family. I liked it when she spilled her wine on Caroline. I liked that she boldly started carrying Laudnum on her and wasn't above using it on people. The though of Elizabeth Bennet drugging her embarrassing relatives to keep them out of sight is hilarious.

I actually enjoyed this variation and there aren't too many that I can say that about. I enjoyed seeing the different ways Elizabeth acted with the repetition of the night. I also liked how she gleaned the information about Wickham and paid attention to Mr. Darcy's behavior and reflected on it to make up her mind about him. I also love how Darcy handled it all.

I read this in a day ;) I'm LOVING these twists on the P&P story! This one, a "Groundhog Day" idea, with poor Elizabeth reliving the same day over and over again. Elizabeth feels the key to getting out of the loop is to prevent the party from leaving after the ball, and during her many repeats, she tries a variety of ways to accomplish this. It was so interesting to see the little things that she could do to change things for the better (encouraging Jane to show her feelings more, recommending a simple piano piece to Mary to play, drugging Lydia and her mother so they don't attend ;) ... and the slightly different conversations and interactions with Darcy each night, that let her get to know him in a way she never would have otherwise.

I liked the epilogue, and then a few chapters from Darcy's perspective, which really helped give insight to his thoughts and feelings during this time.
