If you are a fan of the HOT series, or even if this is your first time across this series, like it was for me, you need to read this quick Novella. Jake Ryan is brought in to help the McKenzie’s to bring down the Brothers of Sin MC. His way in is that he was once a Brother. What he wasn’t expecting is to fall head over heels for the woman he was sent in to bring out.
Eva was out for revenge, the MC killed her sister, all she wanted was to bring them down. She knew Jake high school and was her crush, but he didn’t realize it was her. This book had me on the edge of my seat hoping they could get away from the MC, and waiting for them to fall in love. Praying that the Cox went down.
This is a first book for me, from this author, and if the rest of her books are amazing as this novella is, you can bet your bottom dollar, I WILL be reading more. This author does not leave you hanging, and the thing is, a Novella is short, and boy she packed a punch in that short time.

This was a quick and easy to read novella. That had action, a couple of hot moments and even though its been a long time since I've read a H.O.T story and didn't recognise the characters. I still enjoyed it and never felt like I was missing out and I'm sure fans of the series who really know these characters will love this novella too.

I really liked the storyline of Hot Witness! It had great suspense and drama, along with a budding relationship. I have never read anything in the HOT world, but that didn't affect my enjoyment at all. I think it was a great mix of everything for a novella.

Good, quick read that joins two of my favorite worlds...Liliana Hart's Mackenzie Security Series and Lynn Raye Harris' HOT series. This novella stays true to the HOT formula though with a shorter format things heat up and wrap up quickly. Jake and Eva are appealing characters and would have made a fun long format book. Even with the shorter format we still get the great character development that Harris consistently delivers. You understand and connect with both of these MCs.

I absolutely adore the Hostile Operations Team from Lynn Raye Harris. While I've not read any of the MacKenzie family books from Liliana Hart, I feel like I need to start the series after meeting some of the characters in HOT Witness.
Jake Ryan was the perfect choice based on his past with the Brothers of Sin to go in as a member again to protect witness Eva Gray. I loved that even though Jake didn't know exactly why Eva looked so familiar to him, he inherently recognized something about her. I absolutely loved their instant connection and loved the journey Jake and Eva took.
While the chemistry was off the charts hot between Jake and Eva, I found a bit of a sweetness to their relationship as well. I loved how each and every member of the HOT team is so protective of the women in their lives pretty much from the moment they find them. Jake was no exception with Eva, in fact he might have even been more protective than any of the others based upon their situation.
HOT Witness had all of the suspense, heat and romance fans of the Hostile Operations Team fans have come to know and love. I have to say after getting this taste of the MacKenzie family stories, I now plan to add those books to my to be read list.
