Oh my God...

This was so CUTE!!!

Damas y Caballeros, finalmente... Lo que todos han estado esperando:

*redoble de tambores*

¡MALEC!

Nice, I really enjoyed reading about Magnus and Alecs Baby, this was just too cute. I wish we'd had a shadowhunter novel from the point of view of max, wouldn't that be awesome?

This one was SO HEART WHELMING!
I loved everything about it. It was full of hope, insecurities, friendship, and more.
Cassandra clare never disappoints when writing about Alec and Magnus

This is my new favorite in the series. I was smiling the entire time I was reading this. It just made me so happy because it was like everything I ever wanted in a book. It had Sizzy and Malec and Clace and the Lightwood family being nice to Magnus and it was just my everything. And we got to meet Alec and Magnus's baby, and it made me so freaking excited. The baby was so cute! The baby brought everyone together. Magnus got along with Alec's parents, and it was just an amazing time.

We really got to see how much the family dynamic has changed in the Lightwood family in this book. While Maryse and Robert definitely still do not get along, they are in the same room without going at it, Robert does not recoil or show any sign of disgust when seeing Magnus and Alec together, and everyone just seems to be (for the most part) getting along.

Simon and Izzy are my heart and soul, and I just love them together. It's the perfect balance of geeky and sexy, and I just freaking love them. They are so great for each other. Simon and Izzy both care about each other so much, and that is just evident in this book. It just goes to show that no matter what, they would have found each other because their love is that powerful, and it was really beautiful to see.

This book just made me swoon and smile, and I just really enjoyed it. I loved the writing, the character development, and the world and just everything about it. I am really looking forward to reading the next installment to the series because I am sure it is going to be absolutely fabulous!

Warning spoilers ahead.

When I started this book I was in total loss as in why was it relevant for Simon's story. Now, I understand.

A baby is left in the steps of the Academy. A Warlock baby. Left to die or worse. A note explaining the most horrible reason 'who could ever love it?'

The implications of this statement are great and vast. There are people with differences, skin colors, missing limbs, misshapen features, and while some grow to be loved and comforted; some others don't.

This alone gave 5 stars to this book. I can't and will never be able to comprehend why someone would abandon a child.

There were other things that this book was great at. The family reunion was and felt very home-ish. I could see it happening on my house. Izzy and Simon, were the cutest ever. Jace and Alec being all parabatei-ish and stuff.

But the moment this book turned perfect for me. The moment I literally and I'm not exaggerating, not lying, the moment I started sobbing was when they were talking about Max.

*insert quote here* I'll place the exact quote here later, but when Alec said he thought Max couldn't rely on him, that he was jealous of Jace and Izzy. That he thought he'd had more time.
It was heartbreaking. In all the ways I could hope for Alec to explain his feelings towards the baby, Max's death wasn't what I expected. I will never forget this book, this part was too powerful for me.

5/5 stars. This is gorgeous. I stand by my original sentence, tho it was relevant for Simon's story It could've been a Bane Chronicle.

“It doesn’t matter if I get my memories back or not,” Simon said. “It doesn’t matter if another demon gives me amnesia tomorrow. I know you: You’ll come find me again, you’ll come rescue me no matter what happens. You’ll come for me, and I’ll discover you all over again. I love you. I love you without the memories. I love you right now.”

Isabelle said in a calm voice: “I know.”

Simon stared at her. “Was that . . . ,” he said slowly. “Was that a Star Wars reference? Because if it was, I would like to declare my love all over again.”

“Go on, then,” said Isabelle. “I mean it. Say it again. I’ve been waiting awhile.”

“I love you,” said Simon.”

MALEC. MALEC. MALEC. MALEC. FREAKING MALEC. <3

THE FEELS ARE EVERYWHERE PEOPLE. Happy tears were on my face when I read this and they are slowly starting to appear while typing this review. If that doesn't show how much I appreciated and loved this book then I don't know what the fuck will.

SpoilerI'm a huge fangirl and hardcore shipper of Alec and Magnus so I absolutely loved that this book was allllllllllllllllllllllllllll about them and their relationship. AND I love how Alec is finally getting comfortable with himself, their relationship, and his god damn feelings. I have a feeling I will forever read this book out of the entire series - but don't worry I will definitely be re-reading the entire series (just this book WAY more).

Aside from them, the baby warlock (AKA FUCKING MAX BTW) was so fucking adorable. The bromance between Jace and Simon is forever my favorite. I love all of the Lightwoods and how they were beyond supportive of Alec and Magnus. I feel like Born to Endless Night was way too short for me - can I get a longer book please?!?! I need more! Can I get a Jace and Clary baby - or is that too much to ask for?!? Or just another baby for the relationships I ship so god damn hard within these series!?!?
