The suspense was finally over and logan found out though it was hard to read about how he handled it and how there was much miscommunication

Wow, the ending. What the actual fuck. That was an insane way to end the story. This story has continued to grasp my attention and has continued to get really interesting. It's so interesting for us to continue to see the cracks in the mystery form and the mystery to break as the detectives continue to do their job and hints continue to show up. I really liked Leonard in this book! He was the MVP. He's very logical and does his job well. Also, ummm what a green flag??? I'm ngl Leonard is major lover material. If there was a book just about him and him finding love, I'd read it:)) I liked Logan still because he's a good guy but I do wanna say that

the ending ruined my perception of him cuz I understand him but why would u j not let her explain at all and just leave her like that???

Lana in my eyes is still justified in all her actions and a girlboss. I love Hadley's relationship with her and how Jake, Lana and even Leonard care abt her (without him even directly realizing). I LOVE ESPECIALLY HOW EVERYTHING IN THE STORY IS LIKE FALLING INTO PLACE AND COMING FULL CIRCLE. Insane plotting by the author.

Overall this series has continued to gotten interesting and I really enjoy it so much.

The only thing though is there IS one sentence I find problematic. I know I shouldn't be nitpicky but...
"He’s short, has a touch of oriental in his bloodline, given the shape of his eyes and cheekbones.”
Oriental??? What century r we living in???? If you know the history of that term and the racism behind it, you wouldn't let that slide... and me as an Asian person who knows the history of Asian Americans in the US can't just gloss that over. Also, to call him that term bc of "the shape of his eyes" is insane.

I wanna give this 4 stars bc it's one sentence and the overall story is good and maybe the author didn't mean harm but yikes I can't ignore that,,, the term "oriental" should never be used to describe a person, especially not in this day and age.
