The Cat Star Chronicles series is based around the galaxy of Zetith and the good looking cat like men that come from this galaxy. A long time ago the galaxy of Zetith was destroyed and the feline men were sold off as slaves.

Hero is Tragonathon “Trag” Vladatonsk’s story. Trag was in Rogue, the third book. Trag is lonely and wants to settle down. Though, Trag won’t settle for anyone less then a fellow female Zetithian. A female Zetithian is rare. Trag is willing to wait.

Micayla Johnson works on Orleon Station. She is the last Zetithian female. Micayla is spotted by Rutger Grekkor, head of the Commerce Consortium. Rutger despises the Zetithian males. Micayla over hears Rutger gloating about destroying Zetith. When Rutger spots Micayla he aims to take her. Micayla runs and ends up on a space craft with Trag. Trag’s first meeting with Micayla is not lover at first sight. Will the second time around be the charm?

Hero is the sixth book in the Cat Star Chronicles series. I have lapped up every single one of these books. It was great to see Trag again and to get to know him better. Trag is a brooder. Though, I could forgive him, as he is too good looking for his own good. Micayla made me laugh. They way she first reacted to Trag was funny. Every time she got near him, she would hiss or want to bite him. I like that Micayla opened up fairly quickly and became likeable. Trag and Micayla make a good match. If you love sci-fi, romantic paranormal fantasy mixed with a little erotica then you will love these books. Cheryl Brooks is my Hero. I can’t wait to get my hands on book seven, Virgin.

Great ending to a great series - but will there be more? Hopefully we'll hear more from the new generation of 'cats' in the future.

I really liked both Trag and Mick.

I would give this a 3.5 if I could. The plot was actually very good I just couldn't identify with the H/H very much. This could just be my problem though and not the authors.

I'd been waiting for Trag's book for a long time. And it was truly one of the better offerings in the series, if not my all-time favorite, which is still Outcast. I like when Brooks writes vulnerable heroes, and Trag totally was. I loved seeing a Zetithian female as well.

You don't want to read these books because they provide high-quality literature, but they are great fun, and I've been enjoying revisiting that world.

This is just as uh - intellectual - as it looks. Reading the uncorrected advance copy I picked up at #ala10.

Who can resist a zentithian male? A zentithian female, but only for a while.

I got this book for free (hence why I started the series on number 6!!) and I will say that, although I do wish I had started the series from the end, it didn't impact on my enjoyment of the story.

The book is set in a Star Trek like universe where space travel is possible and all the planets visit each other. We begin on a docking station in the middle of deep space. Here we meet Mickayla, a feline-looking woman, who grew up on Earth, but has no clue what race she is. We also meet Trag, one of the last Zetethian males. With a bounty on his head, and with the self dispair at loving his brothere mate, he is travelling with a gang of nice but rough males (and giant insects!) on a arms dealing ship that docks for the day. He swears that he won't mate anyone but a Zethian female, believing them all to be extinct, but then along comes Mickayla.......

I enjoyed this book. It starts off with no hope of a hook-up between the two characters. Mickayla begins the romance plot by hissing at Trag (with no clue as to why she is!) and he dismisses her straight off the bat. They are attracted to each other on instinct alone but, as both have no clue about their own heritage and customs, they dont realise that they do! Its builds nicely but when they decide to give in to their own insticts the chemistry is explosive. The sex scenes are really quite steamy and very well written.

The sub-story is really quite horrible as it revolves around an act of genocide. The main pair spend the entire story either running from the people who tried to wipe out their entire race, or running towards the culprit to get revenge when they discover it is. The rest of the characters in the book were well written and 3D so they were fun to read....I wouldnt mind reading Leroys book!:)

Overall a good read
