I feel like this relationship needed to be set up a little better… that being said I still loved them!!! I fell in love with Banks way more than I thought I would!!!!

April 2023 reread:
Her eyes well up with conviction in her voice. "I wouldn't be a Meadows if I didn't unapologetically go at life at a hundred-and-fifty-miles per hour. No brakes." She exhales, "I'm tired of playing it safe."
Sulli is wrong.
She is really good with words. Those ones wash over me like a euphoric cleansing.

July 2022 reread:
This book is such a love letter to the Meadows family. I love the road trip, camping, and climbing vibes, I love all the easter eggs (this book has one of my all time favorite Calloway Sisters/Like Us series parallels - it makes me sob every time I read it). And finally getting to be in Sulli's head and how she's such a blend of her parents, I love finally reaching these books!

October 2021 reread:
It feels like such a feat to finally reach Kitsulletti's books! I love these three characters so much and all the build up and little moments between all of them in the previous seven books finally comes together in Wild Like Us and it's so satisfying to read!

I went into this with serious doubts because I honestly didn't know how they would make me believe in a poly romance between these three when there's been barely any build-up with Sulli and Banks (at least compared to her and Akara) but honestly it was much more enjoyable than I was expecting.

The actual execution of the relationship leaves something to be desired, and I find it hard to believe that not one of them even thought about discussing polyamory during the whole time they were together out there, especially after the first time they all hooked up.

My hope for the next books is that Akara and Banks get their heads out of their respective asses and admit that they are also slightly into each other because the whole "I like watching him with her BUT ITS ONLY BECAUSE SHES ENJOYING IT AND NOT AT ALL BECAUSE OF HIM NO NO NO"

Honestly you'd think with all the m/m couples in this series and the authors' obsession with them, it wouldn't be an issue, but when have kbr ever make sense.

First, I want to say that I finished this book in one day and that too me passed soo fast, I couldn't for the love of god put the book down, I reread it then a 2nd time so that my friends means I read this book two times in the span of two days and I've been reading my favourite moments since the 18th of this month.
I have been waiting for this one for almost a year now, and boy was it worth it the wait, I'm not going to lie I was very sceptical about the whole poly relationship thing BUT I was wowed and convinced otherwise when I finished the book, Banks is my favourite and Sullivan owns my heart, I was a little bit just a little bit disappointed in Akara, I wanted more of his story but I think we will most probably do in the next books.
There were some cringe moments and some very unnecessary moments in my opinion but the overall was amazing. The buildup and the tension and the back and forth I loved everything about it, and also I loved Daisy and Ryke and how they were protective of Sulli.
Now "Spoiler" the books does end on a cliffhanger and its the worst one ever!!!!! I cannot wait for May and so I can dive into them all over again.
this book earned 4 stars for reason and one reason only, at the end "Spoiler again" Banks gets kind of his heartbroken in regards of his brother's wedding which I loved and hated, I loved that it was kept realistic and all, but I hated that it happened to Banks but I loved that Sulli was there and that even Banks was happy that Akara was there.
I loved the book and would not change a single thing about it, and I cannot wait to have the next one in May.

Wild Like Us
⭐️⭐️

This book can be used as a torture device by simply forcing someone to read it. I’m so tired of this shit.

It felt like their emotions were forced on by the authors to make the scenes emotional, but all it made me was fucking annoyed. They cry SO MUCH. They cry at every little inconvenience that isn’t even that big of a deal.

The way it’s stated EARLY on that Banks likes Akara but it’s not addressed later on at all. And they both say they aren’t jealous of the other but they clearly are. Both of them gets jealous when Sulli just smiles at the other.

I don’t think I’ll be able to suffer through the other books unless Charlie or Xander’s book is announced, because I need something to motivate me to get through the next two.

post-release: (taps mic) i would like to say the bar was literally on the f*cking ground and kbr still managed to be ridiculous + disappointing + probably racist (but i digress). akarasulli sweeties i'm so sorry those wh*te psychopaths ruined you like this:(

pre-release:
i read 3 (three!) whole entire marrow books filled with nothing but oversexualization and fetishization, stuck by authors who are willing to do just about anything w/o any morals whatsoever because it’s “their choice”......your choice to bait readers for 3+ years into reading your stupid fucking books just because it had crumbs of the one couple we’ve all been waiting for...only to find out at the very end that that couple isn’t working anymore for them “and it was planned from the start haha” (they just conveniently forgot that when they added the dupe cover for lu#8) so. i’m done. fuck this fuck kbr fuck their stupid books that literally, haven’t had a decent plot as long as i can remember (trust me, celebrity life isn’t that interesting if you keep repeating that shit 10 times over), fuck all their headass middle aged fans who jack off to marrow n then tell lgbt+ kids we should be “grateful” kbr decided to “honor” us by giving us “representation” :-)
