I have to say; I enjoyed Act Two a lot more than the first book. The first book left me with so many questions, and I feel like Act Two answered them and then some. For the most part, I was surprised by the turn of events in this story. I didn't see most of it coming, which made it pretty exciting. I liked Vivienne a lot more in this book as well. She didn't feel as swoony over Kingston, and I felt like her initial out of placed swooning was explained a bit. I didn't want to put this one down!

I have mixed feelings about this book. I'm anxious to finish the series but I felt like too much was crammed in to here. Too many different people introduced, secrets revealed. I liked it though.

I think this was a bit more engaging than the first but im still finding myself not that interested in continuing, especially without a certain character involved.

OHHHH MYYYYYY EFFFFFFINNNGGG GOOOOODDDD!

The Immortal Circus: Act Two has left me in awe and shock. The amount of twists and turns thrown at me - well, it definitely had my mind completely mind blown. I'm shook.

Vivi and Kingston were my everything. However, the amount of lies and deception from their freaking relationship made me not like them. Then again it's me.. and I'm fickle person. I absolutely loved them together. I could totally forget about this relationship being built on lies. I saw genuine love between these two. However, I was not fucking prepared for what happened.

Nope, not one bit.

The Fairy Queen, also known as Mab, is a god damn bitch. UGH! She made me so mad. Heck, I loved her in the first book but then this book made me suspicious of her so quickly. I knew something was going on because everyone's contracts plus the deaths were so "random" mostly because they weren't.

Mab is a god damn nutcase - right along Lilith. These two are people you should be on the look out for. I'm sure they've killed a shit ton of people. Lilith, also, just fucking creeps me out. I dislike them both so freaking much that I hope they die in the third and final book.

Overall, the amount of deaths shouldn't of shocked me.. but they did. I didn't expect so much or certain people to die. I'm hooked and I NEED to know how this series is going to end!!

Sorry other BR people - I need to listen to the final act right now!!

So now what?

Holy drama and plot twists!! I can't even begin to break down what I just read. Viv is beyond annoy, but I feel for her on so many levels. I now will read the Final Act and hope for the best.

Eh, it was okay. I enjoyed it but not enough to write a decent review of it. Is that bad?

....Okay, honestly? I waited too long to write this review and now I cannot differentiate what happen in this one with the other two. -- BUT Kingston's story arc is fabulous. And learning more about Viv? FINALLY! And that ending? Oh, I liked that little twist. Mab, you little devil.

Fast paced and unusual, this is a surprisingly in depth novel that packs one heck of a punch for the limited number of pages. Answers are given to quite a few of the questions raised in the previous book, and there is less of a mystery angle and more all out action. It's crazy, tense and intense, and it drags you along for the ride, ready or not.

The only bits I didn't engage with were the visions. I get that they were intended to provide context. In honesty, they felt like filler. And really didn't engage with them at all.

That said, as a whole this is very well done. Full of action, drama and betrayals, this will answer some questions yet raise a whole host of others.
