The Children's War and Other poems is an amazing collection of poems. They pull at your strings and makes one realize how much a war affects a person. Reading these poems gives the reader a sense of how these innocent people felt and what they witnessed. Each poem tells a different story from a different child/woman from a different place. They are hauntingly beautiful. Poems that will stay engraved in your mind for a long time. Very much worth the read.
