I haven't read a lot of memoirs in the past, but I'm starting to expand my reading palette a bit. I saw this one and wanted to give it a shot.
Patric Gagne is open and raw in this book. She explains her journey from childhood until now as she struggles with what was originally thought of as just "a child with bad behavior." It was very interesting and informative to read. Sociopathy isn't diagnosed or even truly considered a personality disorder on the DSM, to my knowledge.
I definitely give her props for her openness in this book, and I've seen some people say it's made up, but I think that is the problem with too many mental health issues in the world today. That's probably why it's difficult to find decent care.

i was enjoying the book up until we got to the college scenes..then i got bored. i was planning to just push through but i did a bit a research about the author & found out she’s a fraud. finding out she lied about her credentials truly left a bad taste in my mouth..i just lost the will to finish the book.
