So, this is the Batman "classic" everyone needs to read. Well, one of them.
Is this an essential read for fans of the character? Yeah. Is it enjoyable? Barely.
I'm not the biggest fan of comics from, well, before the 2000s. The art is way too colorful, and the writing is too episodic. it feels more directed at kids, usually, but this one was as dark as the modern batman stories. So I guess it's pretty good for an old comic?
I didn't really enjoy either parts of the story, but if I had to pick one if would be A Lonely Place Of Dying, just because Riddler was pretty well-written by Marv Wolfman. Robin's actual death, was cool, but it lasted 5 pages. the rest of the Death Of The Family story is a sleep-inducing adventure in the middle east, or something?
Only recommended for big batfans.
