I enjoyed this issue more than I did the first, as it got grittier and more exciting. This series gives a glimpse into the story N0S4A2 but told in a much different way as it explores new characters and how The Wraith (Charlie Manx's car) and Christmasland play a role in their lives. Where the first book explored a bit of the origin of Christmasland this book introduced us to new characters, vile criminals, and how they used Charlie Manx and his world to their benefit. The writing is great (I mean it is Joe Hill after all) and I really love the graphic work. If you were a fan of N0S4A2 I highly recommend this series and I can't wait to see what the rest of the issues entail.

Also, this is the second book/text/written thing I've read this year that has used the word "geek" in a way I've never experienced before. Very odd.
