I was so close yo DNFing this book. I actually put the book down to stop reading it. I'm really glad that I didn't. I never was a huge fan of the heroine, but the hero more then made up for it. I fell in love with Tyler, and I'm so happy I was able to finish his journey with him.

Tyler is now my favorite of the Maddox brothers. This story tackles love, addiction, suspense, and still somehow musters up the beauty of a Jamie McGuire novel.
I loved this book. Every last word of it.

I Love the Maddox brothers! Tyler reminds me a lot of Travis. He is light hearted and loves fiercely!! In this book we meet Ellie, she sees Tyler only as a one night stand, she does not let people get close. Tyler feels the same way but they both feel the electricity between them during that one night. Tyler insists they be friends the next day and she just acts like a mean bitch towards him every time they meet. Ellie is from a very rich, well known family and they have had enough with her wild, partying ways and have cut her off. Ellie finds a job and keeps running into Tyler....even though she is not the nicest he breaks her down and she lets him in. I love this story . I love seeing Ellie find out who she really is and learns to take care of herself and not her family. Grab this if you love the Maddox brothers!

The Maddox Brothers series has to be the best on going series I have read in a while. I have fallen in love with every character to come into these books. Tyler and Ellie are no different. I love Ellie’s backstory and how true and raw her feelings were. I know I have seen mixed reviews on it, but honestly I really liked how the alcoholism was talked about and shown, it was a true voicing of how a person is through addiction. I love that in each book, it isn’t just them that’s talked about, but the whole family as well.
Tyler was a great book boyfriend, he handled her delicately but pushed her when it was needed.
As always I love the ending, they are never too rushed or too slow. Perfect amount of spice, and full of feelings. I can’t wait to read the next in the series. ❤️

I'm kind of torn on how to review this... There were things that annoyed me, specially about Ellie and how she was portrayed, that it took her so long to get things straight. At the same time, I firmly believe that everything McGuire writes it's pretty awesome.
And the ending was kind of boring... I thought it was just a chapter ending but when I clicked for a new page it said The End, so...
