2.5 stars.
Derick (H) goes to his childhood home to ferret out a traitor as his last mission for the War Office. He runs into Emma (h) and sparks flare. Romance ensues. And they also catch a killer.
This was ok. It wasn't great. I didn't actively dislike it. There was a bit too much of melodramatics for my taste. I'll still give her other books a chance, this didn't put me completely off Heather Snow's books. However, if the timelines are as short as the one in this book, I'm going to really struggle.
