I think it is always helpful to imagine and build for what happens after revolution, and remember those that have been imagining for much longer before us. I did feel like when I picked it up in late October of last year may not have given me the expansive time to appreciate it; Gazans continue to be murdered and starved every day and as I write on the 115th day of this most recent continued assault, I couldn’t help but itch for material that would help us resist and turn the tide in this moment. I hope to see a free Palestine in my lifetime.

I hoped for a little more from this book! While the authors are doing important work, there's very little that's straightforward. It's difficult to read, because they rarely refer to the actual issues at hand, but rather issues surrounding the apartheid state. For someone coming in fresh to the topic without much background knowledge (as I was at the time I read it a few years ago) it was confusing. However, the projects themselves were fascinating and beautiful.
