There are a few ways to consider this book-- one, as a poetry collection. To be frank, the poetry is pretty bad-- a lot of cliches, small thoughts not developed in interesting ways. There is the occasional gem of a line, but no single poem impressed me. The second thing to consider is this as a collection of photographs-- I found the photography to be composed with great skill. A lot of it was very interesting and unique and beautiful and odd. It was definitely a successful bunch of photos. Finally, when considering this book as a combination of the two things-- poetry and photography-- it largely fails, mostly because there is a disconnect in skill level, kind of like when a comic book has a great story but awful art, or vice-versa. Even though I loved the photographs, I didn't love them in the context of this book-- I just want to seek out more of this photographer's work elsewhere.

It was repetitive and also, A LOT OF POEMS.
They had the same ones as the previous book so I was reading the same.

THIS!!!

A book I would read and listen to the audiobook on repeat and I really wouldn't get bored or tired of it!

written in a way to heal the reader and the listener, it's amazing how the words could just summarize what you are feeling and what you need to do or think of!

"I need you to understand something. I wrote this for you. I wrote this for you and only you. Everyone else who reads it doesn't get it." - it starts with this but it says what you will find!

"..Home is a place, not just a time.."

"..how many times this could hurt.
The question is, How many times can it heal"

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Wtf is this. This book is full of nothingness. Regret buying it. I’d like to keep an open mind, but so far… modern poetry has no depth.

I can also write “modern” chitchat and call myself a successful author.

You remember that time you were looking forward to *insert a situation*? Neither do I.

Here. Did you like it?

I cannot begin to express how beautifully overwhelming this is. It's so personal in that these words can mean so many different things to anyone who reads this book and everyone relates to it all in their own way; no matter what you're going through you can relate to any single one of these poems.

Pretty damn amazing poetry collection in my opinion. Mostly loved the sections on hope and on living. Would recommend!
