i really want to give it a five but there were a stories that were like omg i'm so ~~~~liberal~~~~~ and a lot of ones with dads that i didn't care about (although there were a lot with dads that made me cry, so there's that). there were too many white people with their generic guilt dead person cheating w/e stories.
OVERALL IT WAS REALLY GOOD. there were just so many stories where people are ~lost~ and i don't automatically like those, and protags who were really mean and i didn't care about. LOATHED the buddhist retreat one.
anyway will anticipate this years collection in hopes for more stories of things that i'm actually interested in
(oh god, loved all the ones that were either wilderness oriented or talked about SERPENTINE ahhh)
maybe evaluate story by story later
