Okay, maybe almost 4⭐️ I really enjoyed reading it. I loved that it has very short chapters and that it's quite fast paced, or at least somehow it's quite easy to just flip the pages and read, read, read.

I feel like the characters have realistic, human issues and the epilogue doesn't do the story justice. I was expecting a bit more from it.

Overall, I'm glad I read it!
A few thoughts:
A) Regan's daughters are mentioned quite a few times so i was looking forward to Lee meeting them 🥺🥹
B) I feel like the contest not existing/Lee paying with Jason's card thing should have had a bit more explaining.
C) when Lee was at the hospital i would have loved to have a little sibling reunion, where they talked and made "amends" with the past and their regrets
D) the epilogue felt a bit empty somehow, it seemed like they were celebrating something though i have no clue what it was.

This book was both badly written. The characters were shallow - both in terms of depth, and in terms of their personalities. The romance was haphazard. The plot was choppy at parts, and it was just not an exciting read.
