The dark gets very dark.
The spice is 4/5 and pretty gratuitous.

Explosive and action packed
This book was an explosive ride! There was the main storyline I expected- forced arranged marriage, former enemies and neither party wanted the marriage- and then it took a left turn and went way off the rails! Iris is no delicate flower. There's the Iris people expect and then there's the real Iris no one knows. She's just as vicious, terrifying and ruthless as the men she married. She's in control of everything, the real mastermind pulling the strings. She's brilliant and calculating. All of this under a gorgeous mask. Iris is able to match her men, blow for blow, and keep them on their toes. All of these characters have gone through so much darkness in their lives that has shaped them into the 'monsters' they are. There are so many secrets that will break hearts and ultimately they have decide whether they can forgive (something they've been conditioned against). They have to decide whether to break the cycle and let go of the past. They have to choose whether they want happiness and love. I laughed, I cried and I even felt like my heart was going to burst out of my chest! There is so much action and steamy times, your adrenaline will be skyrocketing! I loved every minute of it and devoured this book!

This was another incredible read in the Mafia Wars series. Unfortunately it was the last one, so I've now read the entire series and I'm sad there won't be any more. I really hope these authors do something similar again because the collaboration was awesome. You have 6 books which are all quite different from each other but have bits of crossover. Iris is totally different from the other ladies and boy have the Russians met their match! Set in Vegas, this book was incredible, full of action and heat, the 3 Volkov men are all so different from each other and in their own ways need what Iris has to offer. Betrayal and loyalties are big themes. If you have any triggers, you will probably find one in this book. Thank you ladies, I'll be buying all 6 of these incredible books in paperback, they are just all that good!
