Despite a promising premise this book failed to deliver on just about every level. Ultimately, it was simply boring. The world building didn't go far enough. The character development didn't go far enough. The plot wasn't as exciting as promised and the editing was painful. I really wanted to like this book but I found it more and more difficult to hold my attention until the book fizzled out at the end.
