Silly farm story. Good rhyme and would be fun to do in a storytime because of great voices and shouting!

Silly picture book about a herd of silly ponies that stay up all night goofing off. Poor Farmer is beside himself! He can't figure out why his horses have to sleep the day away. Maybe they are sick? Maybe wolves are keeping them awake all night? Guess again, Farmer!

There is a lot of humor in both the narrative and the illustrations as the horses outsmart the farmer. Cute story.

Farmer’s horses can never see to stay awake during the day. Farmer discovers the cause, but no matter what he does, he can’t seem to solve the problem. An amusing story, but didn’t quite keep us hooked in the same way as Wilson’s Bear books.
