the book covered many aspects of palestinians in gaza, from their own personal experiences to agriculture, their love for learning, and their never dying hopes and dreams. reading about the israeli attacks on them is absolutely heartbreaking, nobody should have to go through that, to be living in constant fear in places they are supposed to feel the safest at.
i typically do not pick up such books as they are tough for me to read and be engaged with them, but this was such an essential read.
