I never saw this one coming. Hacker Wilson Carter has his work cut out for him when he falls for Tabitha. She's wild, irreverent, and a total mystery. Their connection is instant and absolute, but she has dark secrets and he has commitments to Horus and baddies to take down. Can Wilson unravel her bindings and make her his? This engrossing mystery romance is one Hot read!

Sorry to the Tabitha’s of the world but I cannot picture anyone other than a 90 year old knitter when I hear that name. That threw me off the entire book and I honestly forget her name over and over again. The book jumps right in with no world building and was overwhelming in my opinion. Wish I hadn’t read it

A bit dark for me. I also found the boundaries between the characters to be...problematic. I suppose it did keep me reading until the end, but at that point I was skimming.

I wouldn't really classify this as a romance unless you like your man to be forceful for sex, not tell you his real name, talk in third person, plant cameras so he can watch you, & getting you away from your asshole husband to possess you is his goal. The story jumped around with spy & surveillance and a "love at first sight" connection that was based on sex & really no other needs. A little mystery about Tabitha's past & "Wilson"'s other identities. Not my cup of tea. Pretty convoluted

I liked this reasonably well. The sexy bits were good, but the story seemed a little bit of a stretch even for this series. But it was a good fluffy (although kinda dark) quick read.

Re-reading and in hindsight, it’s crazy how prescient the subplot was with the white supremicist BIL, and the billionaire presidential candidate.

Another scorching hot read in the Forbidden Bodyguards series. This time round, Wilson Carter gets his chance at a HEA. And he is paired off with someone who is just as broken, just as dirty, just as damaged as he is. It was a tumultuous affair, with some underground stuff playing alongside it. I was completely taken aback by how Wilson was depicted in this book. It was completely the opposite of what I envisioned when we met him in the first book of the series [book:Hate F*@k: The Complete Story|32182526]. The man who learnt how to knit versus the man shown in this book were the complete opposite for me. But I liked this version just as much :) It must be noted that not much is done in terms of explaining how he became to be damaged, just something light but nothing in depth.

As for the female MC. She had a whole list of problems. Despite her outward appearance of being tough and hardcore, she was anything but. I loved how Wilson took charge of the situation and did everything in his power to protect and help her - alpha male to the core.

If you looking for something steamy and hot, with some suspense thrown in, this is the book to read.

And now for the long wait for Tag and Jason's books...

I loved Wilson and Tabitha together. Both are broken, but they fall for each other fast and Wilson will do anything to protect her. I really liked how they handled everything and couldn't believe some of the things that Grant had done to Tabitha in the past. Neither of them were looking for each other and were surprised when they found love, so I think that their story had the perfect ending.

I can't wait to see what happens in the next book.
