Very interesting premise, meh execution. I'm an emotional reader (I feel all the feels), and yet this one barely got to me. I liked Mateo and Rufus. I liked Lidia and the Plutos. And yet I could not connect with the book like I was hoping I would.

"Maybe it's better to have gotten it right and been happy for one day instead of living a lifetime of wrongs."

Another one for the list of books that made me tear up/cry.

I wanted to love this book so much, yet it was to YA for such a series topic/theme

I loved reading this. Although I don’t know if I would have preferred R and M staying friends instead of turning into lovers. The love story was very sweet, but a little bit predictable. Besides that, the part where they confessed their love was so beautifully written that I didn’t mind it turning into a live story.
I also like that it’s open to interpretation whether Rufus dies or not. To me, the black page at the end represents death. But others may experience it differently.
One thing I didn’t really like was the short parts about the other people, it kind of took me away from the story.
The writer is really good at building up tension, then breaking it down again without anything happening. In contrast, Mateos death came totally unexpected. Which is a good thing.

Overall I really liked this book, would definitely recommend!!
