Such raw writing. I watched the movie a very very long time ago and surprised I’m just now reading the book. I listened to the audiobook and am happy I read it this way, the voice actor really threw you into the shoes of a young boy navigating life and his past trauma.

Loved the writing style of the book. It felt very raw and personal. I feel like the book wouldn't have had the same impact if it was written in any other way. I loved it and would highly recommend it.
