The gothic setting and parties were beautifully done, but they were the most fleshed out part of the story. I didn’t love the romance, although I thought the idea of who she chose for the MMC could’ve been really interesting. I really wanted to like the FMC, Signa, more than I did. She just felt flat, as too did the dialogue between her and the MMC. The pace was slow and I almost DNF, but the ending was interesting. I really want to to like this book more than I did but too much of it felt forced.

ohhh that ending. this book definitely had me guessing throughout and I was a bit uncertain about the whole death situation at first but as it was built upon found i enjoyed it. love the murder mystery romantasy feels!!!! a little guessavle and slow at points
