I found this book on vacation in a free library. I had finished the 3 books I brought with me and needed something light to read on my last day and the plane ride home. This book is maybe 12 in the series, and if I had read them all I probably would have added a star, because I could see how you would be more invested at book 12. The flour bomb scene was where the book really lost me. It was too quick and sloppy and unbelievable a way to wrap things up.

A very cute cozy mystery! 

This is my first cat cozy ever (meaning, yes, I started with the 12th book in a series 😅), so there were lots of "catch up" moments in this book that I assume are references to things that happened previously in the series. Even so, that didn't detract from the story or the whimsy.

A great beach read. 😻
