I read four books of this series over four days; this is the one that I actually liked. I think because it was the one that dealt with adults in the same family learning things about each other, as well as reaching into the past and hoping to find something.  Also, because I didn't find the viewpoint character off-putting.

I need to stop reading these books. For one thing, they completely undo me, emotionally. For another ... like, why do I even bother writing? They are amazing. Read them, people. Do.
