Collection of Twitter post-like writings about her mother's death, her father's neglect, drugs, sex, etc. Could appreciate her filterlessness and uncensored writing.
Not entirely sure what my takeaway from this one is. Maybe that novels indeed take on a variety of different forms?

Short, savory, and like James Joyce if James Joyce were fun reading.

Really had to stop and question what I was getting myself into after reading the first few pages; but, after getting used to the writing style of what felt like the Twitter draft folder of a troubled mind, I really enjoyed Darcie diving into topics that I tend to avoid thinking about. Throughout reading, I had multiple occurrences of both stopping to ponder and laughing out loud—plus, while not necessarily a “light” read, it’s definitely a quick one

Merry Christmas from my mom! This was like reading all of my drunk tweets if I ever got drunk and used my Twitter account. Thanks, mom.
