This story was well written, with a fast pace. It has a setting after a world-shattering event, but despite the fallout and ruined cities it is more fantasy than dystopian. I did love the way V is a bookworm (no, book dragon!), works in a library, and the way other YA books are used as extra way for worldbuilding (I don't sparkle).
