I love Jenny. Not in a stalkerish way, but in a, I totally understand her weirdness and feel like we could be friends, way. Loved this book. Can't wait to read the newest one.

I have loved Jenny Lawson (aka The Bloggess) even since some celebrity or another tweeted a blog entry about a woman, her husband, some bath towels, and a giant metal chicken named Beyonce. She's smart, she's funny as hell, and she's capable of moments of deep poignancy and introspection. And, more than anything, I came away from this book with the sense that, for all my weirdness, I might not be alone in this universe in my particular brand of insanity.

Overall, I enjoyed it. Quick read, I laughed out loud a few times, but often I felt like she was trying too hard.

Supposed to be a funny memoir, but I didn't laugh once. Some bits were interesting. Probably could have just stuck to the blog, though.

I enjoyed reading it a lot! I laughed out loud like I did with her other book. Although, I did like furiously happy a tad more. I still would recommend though!

Jenny has lived a bizarre life, and her snappy wit and writing style helps her chronicle its insanity. It's probably better read in chunks, since the humor and inane stories tend to run together.

It is really funny at the beginning and her childhood is definitely interesting but then after 40% it gets old, really old.
If you're stressed and looking for a light read that takes your mind off things then give it a try (download the sample and see if you like it)
I won't really recommend the book (collection of blog entries / random stories) otherwise

Terrific. Her stories about her wonderfully weird family, her husband, and her anxiety were all ridiculous and funny.
