This issue begins in a heightened scene in which we don’t know if Lou will be okay or not after he overexerted himself travelling the universe. I read this comic while snuggled up with my cats and this one managed to tug on the heartstrings. The death of Alix, Lou’s alien friend, causes Lou and Kiara to jump into action to try to show the world the truth behind Premier Peely. Unfortunately, their plans are foiled, which results in Kiara ends up being shot. What an emotional issue. I don’t know that I’m ready for the next one, but I also can’t not read it….
