Love the way it brilliantly ties everything together by the end. Gives Joe Goldberg vibes. She's cold, insane, and hilarious.

Irreverent black comedy with a fierce edge. A woman serial killer in the UK. I couldn't decide if I liked the main character. I guess I can say that she brought out the worst in me as I laughed at her committing murders and nastily judging others in pain. It's not a book for everyone, but if you like that kind of snark you may love this one.

Ha! I loved this, what a great and original read! It was everything I wanted and more! It had more of a complex storyline than I first imagined but easy enough to follow without it being explained to you overly patronisingly. It had a lot of heart too.

You’d Look Better as a Ghost by Joanna Wallace is a twisted, dark, and funny story about a female serial killer who sets herself up for a series of wild events because of the victim she chooses to kill while mourning her father’s recent death. Throughout the book, you aren’t sure if she is going to be caught, if she is going to kill again, or if she is going to become “normal.” And she isn’t, either! Claire is not a person I would want to meet even on a sunny day in a public location, but I was entertained as a spectator to what unfolded in her life. Warning: there is discussion of elder abuse and dementia, along with all the obvious warnings associated with being inside the head of a serial killer.
