This was one of my first attempts at poetry, and I will admit that poetry is frightening because of its depths. I thought Oni Buchanan would be nice and easy, and for the most part I understood it all and was doing well. But then I began to feel like I was missing something, that I wasn't catching onto the deeper meaning. I loved what was on the surface, it was cute and thoughtful, is that how it was supposed to be? I feel like I only read half the book but all the pages.
