Audible book: really loved this book, such a great story and the narrator, Christian Rummel, did an excellent job.

I quite enjoyed this one! While not really a "horror" story in my opinion, the story came together very nicely.

Written as a hotel concierge is giving a "tour" to the guests, it becomes short stories told by the "permanent residents of the hotel. Then at the end it all comes together.

Enjoyed this book, it is a great way to bring different stories together. I have some more on my TBR now from this author.

Although the audiobook performance was spectacular, the story itself was just okay. I enjoyed the short stories that make up this narrative, but found that most of them ended abruptly or anti-climactically. And the conversations/lessons between the hotel clerk and the red haired girl came across as a little too didactic at times. But there were some decent supernatural tales in this collection - despite the predictable ending - so overall I enjoyed it.

I wanted to read something that was suspenseful and scary… this wasn’t that.  The book showcases a collection of different stories about the long-term residents of the hotel. Some were interesting, some not so much. I found myself wanting the book to get to the point of what the story was about and the ending didn’t give the payoff I was expecting.
