Bullet Review:

Such a fun read. Catwoman is so light-hearted - a reprieve to all those gritty, edgy "serious business" comics out there.

A shame Judd Winnick left after this one :(

One of my favourite Catwoman collections to date. I truly loved the story, the banter, the fun, and the twists that came with this series. It was great to see Selina Kyle return to her roots, make some new friends, and thwart some new enemies. The writing is fun, the action is solid, and the art is fantastic. Highly recommended for Catwoman and DC fans!

Good stuff. I had my suspicions about Spark, and that legacy villain was something else.

Again, the writing is solid, but I had to dock one star because of all the boobiness. I mean, don't get me wrong. I love boobs. Who doesn't love boobs? And Selina Kyle is obviously a woman who knows how to use her boobs. But when she is out stealing things and beating up bad guys for killing prostitutes (because who else will care?), WHY IS HER SHIRT OPEN??????

Otherwise, this hits the Catwoman sweet spot for me. She's morally ambiguous but ultimately good (chaotic good, if you will). She mostly steals from gangsters and the filthy rich, and sticks up for the people of Gotham that are forgotten.

This was a really good look at how Selina manages to toe the line between good and bad and I enjoyed it a lot.

So I was really blown away by the first volume in this series. While this held the same tempo, I didn't get all that much from it. I enjoyed it and got to see a little more of why Catwoman is the way she is — I think. We also got what I think is the beginning of the storyline of this series, and I'm looking forward to see how it spills out!

The art is still nice, and I was glad to see her working out. She's not just strong and that's that, she works for it, and I'm glad to see it
